About 8v8 Soccer of Denville
The 8 v 8 Summer League of Denville, Inc. is a NJ and federally registered 501(c) non profit corporation. 8 v 8 soccer sessions are scheduled in the off season to not impact travel or scholastic teams. None of the 8 v 8 corporate officers receive a salary, stipend or other financial compensation. Net proceeds from 8 v 8 events go to scholarships
8 v 8 Programs:
8 v 8 Summer League - The league is for high school teams and players who want a diverse competitive venue to prepare for the upcoming fall season. The league is open to teams from any NJ or out of state location. The league starts in late June, plays Mondays and Wednesdays and runs until the end of July. All players get a t-shirt. The format is small sided 8 v 8 games.
Elite Player Training - A variety of winter and summer training sessions with the Morris Knolls High School girls varsity coaches are sponsored and supported by 8 v 8. Elite Player training focus' on advanced offensive and defensive skill development in an individual as well as team context. Tactics and agility are also part of this training. The Elite Player Training is geared toward the U8 > U14 player seeking to improve their skills to a higher level and experience a venue usually not offered until they reach high school.
8 v 8 Saturday Morning Summer Camp/Clinic - An affordable 1 hour camp from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM for PreK, 1st Grade and 2nd Grade players. This camp provides parents with a venue for new as well as "veteran" players to learn and develop basic soccer skills. The session consists of dribbling, passing, shooting and agility skills. All players get an 8 v 8 t-shirt. Session is run by high school and/or college players under the supervision of an adult coach.
Girls Travel Team Training U8 > U14 - Prepare for the upcoming fall season with travel team training with the MKHS girls coaches. This training sessions runs for 4 weekday nights in August from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. This session is open to teams as well as individual players. Team discounts are available.
