2009 Abbey Hill Literary 3rd Quarter Quick Lit Challenge Winners
Congratulations to the winners of the Abbey Hill Literary 3rd Quarter Quick Lit challenge! We also sincerely appreciate the time, skill and creative effort that went into each and every story submitted. Our primary judge, Ms. Erika Dreifus, selected the four winners from numerous quality entries.
The winners, 1st through 4th, are: "Artifice" by Lisa Palin; "Alexandra Fox" by Philip N. Di Pietro; "Therapy" by Aisling Burke; and an untitled entry by Jennifer Hamner.
Note: Abbey Hill Literary is especially pleased to welcome our first international winner, Aisling Burke, the author of "Therapy," who calls Ireland home.
We sincerely thank our 3rd Quarter judge, Ms. Erika Dreifus (EdM, MFA, PhD), an award-winning writer who has published short stories in numerous magazines and journals, including Lilith, Mississippi Review Online, and TriQuarterly.
