Many present and past community leaders of Denville have served on the P.R.I.D.E. Council. One of P.R.I.D.E.'s greatest achievements was preventing downtown Denville from being divided by Interstate 80. Due in part to the involvement of the P.R.I.D.E. Council and other community organizations, Interstate 80 was constructed over rather than through the center of town.
Other significant accomplishments of the P.R.I.D.E. Council include:
- Forming the Denville Historical Society
- Creating the Township Environmental Commission
